Arizona Humane Society - Building healthy relationships between animals and people. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control - This county operation has 2 shelters in the Phoenix Metro area with well over 2,500 adoptable pets available at any one time. These dogs and cats are in need of wonderful and loving family homes. Arizona Adopt A Greyhound - This is the largest greyhound adoption organization in Arizona with 60 or more greyhounds available at most anytime. They offer a great tour of Phoenix Greyhound Park as part of their adoption experience. Sun Valley Animal Shelter - Sun Valley Animal Shelter provides care to unwanted dogs and cats of the north-west valley. They give comfortable, temporary housing, medical care and vaccinations, good food and companionship to scores of homeless animals that need help finding loving, permanent families. R.E.S.C.U.E. - This is a great organization with lots of adoptable dogs and cats, all featured on their web page.
